Lolin NodeMCU V3 is an ESP8266 development board with WIFI and CH340G USB. This development kit facilitates the prototyping of connected objects. It is the cheapest and easiest way to learn about the Internet of Things. This development kit has an ESP-12E module, offers a power circuit and a UART interface via the micro USB connector, 2 push buttons (Reset and Flash), as well as 30 standard pitch pins, for connection. It can be used with the Arduino IDE. first, go to the menu File ->Preferences and copy the URL below to get the ESP board manager extensions: arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json then add the «esp8266 by ESP8266 Community» board through the Boards Manager and then select «NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)» with the Tools menu.
The ESP-12E module is based on the ESP8266EX integrated circuit from ESPRESSIF. Its basic use has been changed from a UART-Wi-Fi interface to an autonomous module for the Internet of Things. Its microcontroller is clocked at 80 MHz by a 32-bit RISC processor (the Tensilica L106) with 96 KB of RAM and a flash memory of 4 MB in our case. It has Wi-Fi connectivity 802.11 b / g / n supporting WEP, WPA / 2 / WPS and can be configured as access point (soft-AP).
